Help me figure out fullflesh Asus RT-AX53U.
Before flashing, I took a full dump with the command cat /dev/mtd0 > /tmp/full_dump.bin = 134,217,728 bytes
I flashed unsuccessfully. When restoring the router from the dump using the breed bootloader, I get an error: invalid firmware format.
Please tell me if I took the full dump incorrectly, or breed does not recognize the dump taken with the command cat /dev/mtd0 > /tmp/full_dump.bin?
Please tell me how to get out of this difficult situation for me.
What is breed bootloader? Does it support OpenWRT?
OpenWRT boots from ASUS bootloader AFAIK
The breed bootloader does not support Opennwrt on Asus RT-AX53U.
But its functions include recording a dump with the ability to rewrite or not rewrite the bootloader.
Having installed the breed bootloader, I wanted to record a previously taken dump.
But it turns out that it can only restore the dump that was created using breed.
Now I don’t know how to record a dump. What is the difference between a dump created by breed and a dump created by OS Asus? Is it possible to convert a dump to a format readable by breed.
No idea, ask for debrick help where you got your loader from.
No shit sherlock, valid bootloader did not magically appear where you intentionaly wiped it and replaced with incompatible garbage. Get that spi programmer out.
Mentioned command had to be followed by quite remarkable file transfer and md5sum checks.
Since the OP has flashed the breed bootloader, the most relevant information will come from the maintainers and user community of that code. OpenWrt is an entirely separate project, and we do not provide technical support on behalf of the breed developers.
