I already ordered the Xiaomi Router 3G, but probably a nice and powerful device! I also saw some older Fritz!Boxes there on eBay for around 25€ (7360 and 7390). Especially the 7390 seemed to offer pretty decent hardware for the price. Unfortunately there currently is no OpenWrt Port for it available, which might be useful, since it ran out of support by AVM recently.

A nice deal, I guess, although too expensive for me.

Same here, I wanted a cheap device, this costs around 200€.

I have been using TP-Link Archer C7 version 8.0 for past few month. Super happy with my experience so I'll recommend that.

Goes for around 4200 INR or 60 USD

Well, the dsl chip is just complete garbage on this device with the original fritz os. Just dont plan using it on vectoring. Better check on Ebay Kleinanzeige for second hand 4040 (~45€) as core router with openwrt and 7362sl as dsl router/modem (free - 20€) with original os.

Given the currency, I would guess it's an Indian-market device. TP-Link is still cashing on on the Archer C7 brand, apparently. There are much better devices available in that price range, including multi-core ARM, ipq40xx-based units.

Most of this thread has been recommending Router 3g or archer 2600. What devices are you referring to? I am looking to get another router. So, Maybe will try something other than C7.
