Golang package for the GL iNet AR750s?

I have the GL iNet AR750s running stock firmware. I cant see any Golang package in the software list and opkg install golang seems to indicate the same. It seems like golang support was merged last year.

  • Did you run opkg update first?
  • Are you running a version made since it's been merged?

I've run opkg update and I'm running on OpenWrt 18.06.1 r7258-5eb055306f / LuCI openwrt-18.06 branch (git-18.196.56128-9112198)
