WPA3 unfortunately works poorly with r/v/k and dawn. A quick search of these forums and you’ll find countless threads on the pain of quick roaming and wpa3. I have two MT-6000’s running as dumb APs and the internet in our house is great. I personally use wpa2-psk with r/v/k features enabled (no dawn).
I recommend either:
A) if you really want WPA3- remove dawn, turn off all r/v/k settings. Tune your APs so that your clients roam how you want them to roam (use different channels for each AP, position routers high / unobstructed, put speedy devices on 5ghz only and optimize roaming for the 5ghz channel, and turn down transmission power as needed to get good roaming (-70dBm for apple clients, similar for android / laptops)
B) if you really want good roaming- use WPA2-psk and turn on all those roaming settings. You still should optimize different channels, position routers high / unobstructed, put speedy devices on 5ghz only and optimize roaming for the 5ghz channel, and turn down transmission power.
