GL-iNet AX1800 new router - OpenWrt support?

Thanks for that report. That is exactly what has been happening to me with the last two February releases ...

Cheers!

What version of GL-iNet firmware we talking about? So i can flash and test.

currently on Version

3.214

I have not been able to get any of the december nor feb versions to install
I dont know where am going wrong

December works for me, February does not install...
AXT-1800 router...

I am using the latest beta from GL-iNet.
But same happens with the stable...

So having just recently got two new GL-AX1800's one has been touched the other hasn't i just flashed my firmware on the untouched one fine that was on the latest stock 4.1 firmware.

R21882 flashed fine and booted fine.

are you able to guide on the exact steps followed? I might be going about it wrong

Well it worked once on the untouched one, now its no longer accepting any releases i have made. So going to pull all of the snapshot builds till this is figured out.

So for now can everyone flash back to GL-iNet stock firmware.

Now to top it off i get the same issue with flashing my firmware on still goes back to GL-inet firmware

Okay hope a solution comes
thank you very much for the passion and dedication

OK, thanks for the confirmation - sorry you are having problems but at least your result confirms we aren't doing anything stupid. Thanks for your work!

No matter what i try, nothing is flashing right. going to give it another rest.

per chance?

Thanks @anomeome it was something else, will keep an eye on this though.

New build up in snapshot folder for testing. Should now flash correctly after assistance from @kirdes (thanks buddy).

Firewall issue is fixed however you need to go into opkg luci and comment out signature checks, also remove the kmods like not sure why that is there.

Might be another build on there by then with signature check temp removed.

GL-AXT1800 fan will always be running though just a heads up still trying to get the sensors to work right so fan can be controlled.

Also do not place anything in sdcard slot not sure if I have done the DTS right for that yet it might fry a card or worse.

I just have USB, Sensors and fan control to sort

Cheers!

AXT1800 ? i take it ??

Sorry, that's correct. AXT1800...

See if you can use OPKG to see if you can install ipq-wifi-glinet_gl-axt1800_1_aarch64_cortex-a53.ipk or download https://flint.solidus1983.duckdns.org/snapshots/r21897/targets/ipq60xx/generic/packages/ipq-wifi-glinet_gl-axt1800_1_aarch64_cortex-a53.ipk and upload it.

let me know if it works will get my AXT1800 out in a bit to test new build that is compiling.
