Is this just me ?
I have a GL-MT6000 and some E8450s.
From Snapshot 25361 forward, "Generate Archive" thru Luci Backup generates an empty
"backup-XXX-2024-xx-xx.tar.gz" file.
This happens on both GL-MT6000 and E8450.
The snapshot installs and runs fine but Generate Archive produces an empty config backup file.
I just loaded a new DL-WRX36 with snapshot r25381 and have the same problem. Do you know if a ticket has been filed for this?
edit: I didn't see anything in the issue tracker for this so I created #6961.

I just flashed 25383 to a GL-MT6000 and same thing continues. Thanks for creating a ticket.
The file does get created but there are no entries in the file. Its just an empty file.
The ticket shows closed with a commit pushed it just didn't arrive in 25383.
I think we should wait for next rev.
I manually applied the changes from 6f6406a132 to my r25381 snapshot and backups work now.
Great to hear that fixes it.
Compiling an .ipk file is above my rank thou.
I can take apart an ipk down to the data directory and control directory and inspect but I don't know how to compile it and not brick the unit.
I have to wait for new rev.
