I dont know where else to go, but here is the thing. I have this g-2425g-a modem and its completely locked. I dont mean by "some options aren't available", but by literally the whole menu is gone, or there isn't one. Here is what I mean:

Any idea of how can I at least make it to install another firmware with the menu complete? The "update firmware" menu is literally unexistent here, only thing I can make with it is change wifi parameters and port forward games. Thanks for any idea
Every video or instructable out there is for updating or unlocking some features, but all the videos the modem is with the whole complete menu, so there is no way I can use those videos since my modem just hasnt that part of the firmware
The thing is I really dont know where else to ask, since this is up to my knowledge the most related forum about installing custom firmware, and maybe someone else also had this problem with another modem hence find a solution, or maybe someone can give me a hint. but also there are some posts about a possible way to install open wrt, but some options aren't available since the linux kernel is lower on this device
Look for resources from your ISP, the manufacturer, or user forums dedicated to this family of devices. Or look for general networking forums (maybe reddit or others).
This forum is specificially for OpenWrt and closely related topics. Unlocking your modem is outside the scope of this forum and is thus off topic.
