Trust that you're doing well. Can you advise what's happening with this appearing issue? When i clicked Update lists, it displays this error. See attached!

Did you do what the error message says and check your network connectivity? If you SSH to your device and run ping openwrt.org do you get a response?

Yes, that's right. I did what to setup adblocking according to AdGuard Home via SSH from Putty. Cool, will do

Like dannil already told you, it is about general network connectivity from the router itself.

(If that is a second router, dumb AP or similar, the typical error is to forget setting the gateway, DNS and netmask options for lan.)

Just to complement the previous advice: remember to also set the gateway and DNS address on the new dumb AP. Otherwise the router itself will be unable to access internet (although clients connected via it will be, as they use DHCP to get address from the main router.)
