FRITZ!Box WLAN 3370 no VDSL2 G.Vector (ITU G.993.5)

Hello,

I could install OpenWrt successfully on the FRITZ!Box WLAN 3370 for Micron from Debian.

OpenWrt works so far good but DSL has no sync and in the options for DSL no VDSL2 G.Vector (ITU G.993.5) is available and I don't know where I can find a driver that I can use for VDSL2 with Vectoring (Deutsche Telekom).

DSL comes with 100/40 MBit/s (seen on original web interface)

I need VDSL2 if I want use OpenWrt.

For tips or solution thank you in advance.

The interfaces are available like LAN, WAN and for IPv6

I use the latest version of OpenWrt...

I hope that a solution is available soon...

OpenWrt cannot ship vectoring capable modem firmware blobs due to licensing reasons, but you can supply your own (e.g. extracted from AVM's firmware images) and make it work that way.

See e.g. https://openwrt.org/toh/bt/homehub_v5a#adslvdsl_configuration_examples (similar hardware, the same basics apply).

Thank you for the information's :slightly_smiling_face:

I'm beginner :face_with_peeking_eye: :see_no_evil:

Do I really need a firmware file?

I've got the *.image file like *.so (ld-uClibc-0.9.33.2.so or libuClibc-0.9.33.2.so) from \var\tmp\filesystem\lib or from the device via FTP at booting?

I found this too:
openwrt.org/docs/guide-user/network/wan/isp-configurations#vdsl1 :face_with_peeking_eye:
I need the version for "Deutsche Telekom" :face_with_peeking_eye:

To enable vectoring features, yes you do.

I think there is also /sbin/vdsl_fw_install.sh, which might do the job.

Thank you :slightly_smiling_face:

But I see a lot of files, what is the right for the device/OpenWrt? :face_with_peeking_eye:
