Topic: Firmware not excepted by TP-Link EC220-G5 ver:2.0
Hi Y'all,
A big thank you to OpenWrt for all the work you put in to creating strong firmware for all our routers
Issue: The router TP-LINK EC220-G5 ver:2.0 is not taking the firmware, from version 24.10.0.
Caution: A solution can't involve an USB (The router does not have USB port).
Please see picture.
"Error Code: 71221
Failed to upload configuration file. Please select correct file."

It is to be uploaded as firmware upgrade, not as configuration file.

keep in mind, this is an 8/64 device.

Firmware upgrade gives
Error Code: 4503
The uploaded file was not accepted.
8MB might be too much for an 8MB device, try 23.05 or 22.03 factory images
How are you trying to upload it? According to the instructions supplied by @frollic you can only flash it via serial or TFTP, you're not using the Web-UI, right?
Thank you TFTP worked. Had to use ai to help me understand what to do. Thank You to everybody who helped.
