How do I make firmware for TL-WR840N V.6.2 which has been upgraded to 16M flash EPROM I'm really new to OpenWRT image builder, I want to try making firmware for the TL-WR840N V.6.2 which I have upgraded to 16M flash EPROM. Can anyone help make a guide? I followed the guide at: https://openwrt.org/docs/guide-user/additional-software/imagebuilder but I am having problems in choosing the firmware image that I have to download and choosing which profile I have to choose because there is no profile for the TL-WR840N V.6.2 then what should I change so that the resulting firmware becomes 16M I hope the experts here can help and guide me Thank you in advance sorry for my bad english

Even with 16MB flash memory, your device doesn't have enough RAM to run properly. 32MB RAM is not sufficient for OpenWrt 21.02 and newer (19.07 may also be unable to run properly with only 32MB RAM).

Even though the results will not be stable, I want to try it, I want to learn to make OpenWRT firmware, can you help show me which firmware image I have to download and what I have to change to make it 16M. and which profile should I change...

To be frank and brutally honest, the (only) sensible solution would be replacing the affected hardware.

Custom(ized) hardware needs custom software, you will have to come up with the necessary changes yourself - but the RAM constraint is really a big issue (even more so with the extended flash, if you consider the flash size, which needs to fit -in full- into RAM during sysupgrades) for this hardware.
