Dear OpenWrt Developers,

I kindly request your consideration for adding OpenWrt support for the TDTech TPro5 modem. TDTech no longer provides updates for this device, and OpenWrt could greatly enhance its functionality and security.

Depends on the hw inside.
Open it up, post photos of the PCB, and the boot log.

Be aware that, if supporting the hardware is possible in the first place, the job of actually developing the required changes to get OpenWrt working on it would be all yours - as you are the only one with the device on the desk and some motivation to do so. There is no staff just waiting for device suggestions, no budget to buy random devices, nor realistically time and motivation to spend multiple weeks/ months to work on a 'requested' device.

OpenWrt happens - or not, if there is someone with the hardware motivated enough to work on it, that may involve a steep learning curve and depends on the hardware itself being supportable. Only a fraction of the device support has been directly developed by formal OpenWrt developers, by far the biggest share of it has been done by irregular contributors (for their device).
