Fibocom Modem on OpenWrt/ROOTer (AT commands working)

I've got a Fibocom modem on a WE826-T2 router (Flashed with latest GoldenOrb). I'm able to send AT commands and verify the modem working nominally via minicom, but for whatever reason OpenWRT can't connect to it.

I read somewhere that the Fibocom modem needs to be switched to "usbswitching mode" via AT command, but I couldn't find details in documentation.

And the package "usb-modeswitch" does not help?

And have you installed the necessary drivers for USB modems?

Yeah I installed usb-modeswitch and nothing. The system is recognizing it correctly in lsusb. The AT commands all work and respond accordingly (I doubled checked the usbmode too and it's set to USB).

ROOter was the right choice in your case. Just re-install it and ask for help in their forum.

What does the rest of that section show? It's the I: and E: lines that tell us whether the modem must be switched or if you are having a driver problem. The C: lines are also very interesting in case there are more than one
