I looked at the flint2, i have fiberoptics, 1g-up 1g-down. I see the flint2 gives an upload of 20Mbps? but dl of 900Mbbps.

i just copied, there is no button to quote.

so my r9000 supports 2.4 & 5Ghz band, the flint2 says 6Ghz wifi, does it support 2.4 & 5Ghz? I have devices that support 2.4 & 5. Not 6.

as for the link "just read" i dont know what that means, what is filter? all i see is this.

im actually getting frustrated now. The flint2 is a Chinese company, the openwrtOne I just dont know, the link above banana one has a fan which i dont like. I really don't know what to choose to push 1g up n down.

Take the list of well supported >=gigabit >=wifi6 devices, you will certainly find couple of them in your local computer store.

I don't know where this list is. Needle in a haystack. My apologizes. I know 1G up n down, fiber optics, the hubs i have now listed above produce 1g up n down with the r9000 ddwrt and fiber and internal. I just want to get to a powerful router that handles openwrt where I can learn. I know quite a bit of linux since beginning if Ubuntu, and like linux mint and open source, i have an rpi4 with pihole on my network for last year.

Both the Flint 2 as well as the BPI R4 will easily push 1gbit through regular NAT. Both are Chinese - as is pretty much every consumer router. As good a device the R4 is (I love mine), the learning curve will be steep, in particular if you want it to do wifi.
