Failure to reconnect to PPPoE

Hi,

If my modem power-cycles, OpenWRT does not reconnect to the internet once the modem has finished rebooting.

How can I set OpenWRT to continually try to connect over PPPoE, without giving up?

I just tested it, and I needed to click the "Restart" button the WAN interface in luci to get it to reconnect, after waiting for the modem to finish starting up.

for me the next settings are solved the problem, and it is working under 18.06.1.

	option keepalive '3 2'
	option persist '1'
