Installing and Using OpenWrt

Hi Experts,

while trying to install openwrt version 24.10.0 on TP Link Archer C6 v3 says
"Failed to update the firmware. Please check the configuration file and try again."
Can someone Please help resolve this issue?

File: openwrt-24.10.0-ramips-mt7621-tplink_archer-c6-v3-squashfs-factory.bin

Your screen shot says C6 v4 ?

Your screenshot states that you've got a C6 V4, not V3.
V4 is not supported, i can't find any data about the differences between V3 and V4.

C6V4 prominently stars e-dumpster infobox of V3 page

It is totally not related to still mid-range 7621 based v3, given uniquue proprietary SoC there is no chance it will ever run OpenWrt (or mainline linux for same sake)

Before I return the router, one last question, will the support be given for TP Link Archer C6 v4 in the near future?
