I just purchased a GL-inet GL-MT6000 but I struggle to install the OpenWRT Firwmare on it.
I downloaded the factory image with the firmware selector and tried to install it via the Local Upgrade panel of the Admin of my router but got a message
The firmware is not compatible with this device
Any idea what I can do?
First of all, the image you're trying to use to upgrade is not OpenWRT.
Second of all, always read the device page in the OpenWRT Wiki because it tells you exactly what to do.

Anyway install the sysupgrade image not the factory one.
And force upgrade without keeping setting.
