I have a nanopi r1 with owrt 24.10.3 squashfs version on sdcard.
I want to use my full 2GB card for openwrt , i found https://openwrt.org/docs/guide-user/installation/installation_methods/sd_card especially the squashfs part.
I already booted the system so i cant use option 1.
It also states to unmount the squashfs partition but wont that crash the running openwrt system?

Thank you , what about my other question if i want to try manually?
It also states to unmount the squashfs partition but wont that crash the running openwrt system?
OpenWRT doesn't really do any constant data writing to disk (unless you changed the defaults), you should be able to remount the partition as read only, and perform the resize.
