Eth1 missing on TP-Link AC1750 v5

I downloaded "http://downloads.openwrt.org/releases/19.07.7/targets/ath79/generic/openwrt-19.07.7-ath79-generic-tplink_archer-c7-v5-squashfs-factory.bin" and installed on TP-Link AC1750 v5.

Multiple sources suggest (including the device wiki @ https://openwrt.org/toh/tp-link/archer-c5-c7-wdr7500#port_map) that there should be 7 ports on the switch with eth1 connected to port 0. LUCI shows 6 ports including eth0 but no eth1.

Google searches also show boot logs for other AC1750 devices where eth1 device initialized. I looked at the logs for mine ... it shows eth0 initializing, but no eth1.

Shouldn't there be an eth1 device for this router??

There is something strange here. The config you posted is the default network configuration of an Archer A7 v5, but the link above points to an image for Archer C7. I am sure that you couldn’t successfully flash an A7 with the image for C7 (due to major differences in the flash layout), so please check again the model of your router and the name of image file you used.

Thank you for the fast response. The link I used is (I got this from the "downloads" section of the browser I used so I'm sure this is correct):

And the label on the bottom of the router is:

Not sure if the image pasted correctly, but the label says:

"Model: Archer CT(US) Ver 5.6"

Correction!. The label says:

"Model: Archer C7(US) Ver 5.6"

OK, it’s really an Archer C7, but the hardware version of your device is 5.6, which is slightly different from the v5 (described in the wiki). Here is the factory bootlog of the device, and as you can see, there is only eth0 available. So it is absolutely normal to see only eth0 after flashing the router with OpenWrt.

Are you saying eth1 device exists in the hardware, but OpenWrt does not support use of eth1 device?

Just found this ... sounds like V5 hardware only has one port. Uhg. Thanks for your help!
