Howdy Folks,
Is there a way to enable 802.11r fast roaming (transition) on GL.iNet Flint 2 ( GL-MT6000)?
Thanks
Please connect to your OpenWrt device using ssh and copy the output of the following commands and post it here using the "Preformatted text </>
" button:
Remember to redact passwords, MAC addresses and any public IP addresses you may have:
ubus call system board
cat /etc/config/network
cat /etc/config/wireless
cat /etc/config/dhcp
cat /etc/config/firewall
opkg list-installed | grep -e ^wpad -e ^hostapd
with openwrt there is, with the gl.inet firmware, ask gl.inet.
I am assuming you are not using GL.iNet's OpenWrt build.
I have two GL-MT6000s, one a router, the other a dumb AP, connected with an ethernet cable. Fast roaming works great for me with the following settings:
yes I'm using the OpenWRT of GL.iNet
then we don't know, ask gl.inet, or install proper openwrt.
I use the Gl.iNet OpenWRT version.
It is not that it is totally off topic but if it does not have 11R checkbox in same place as normal OpenWRT you have to search yourself with OEM-s help.
