Edgerouter-X: Cannot Install OpenWrt 21 from 19

I'm trying OpenWrt for the first time
I followed the official guide which explains how to install OpenWrt 19.
Now I'm trying to get it to latest 21 release

That is expected for the upgrade from 19.07 > 21.02 (for DSA devices). You'll need to force the upgrade (and do not keep settings).

Before your force, it is best practice to make sure you downloaded the correct image and that the checksum matches what is published on the download site.

Ok then. Should I use the sysupgrade image or the install image?

Sysupgrade if you are already running OpenWrt.
