Able to get into BOOTLOADER OK. run the openWRT .bin file no problem After that the USB port does not work at all. Also tried to scp the file, for some reason ssh doesn't want to work. But I am able to update using opkg with port 1 plugged into active internet (current router is online).

I was able to use wget to download the upgrade file from online. After messing around with trying to get USB port to work, then ssh to work the solution was that easy. downloaded it to /tmp and ran sysupgrade on it, worked like a champ.
