EA8500 no network to TFTP

I was following the instructions on:
https://openwrt.org/toh/linksys/linksys_ea8500#installation

I was able to get the serial port connected with Putty. Then got my tftp installed on PC, was able to connect ethernet to INTERNET port of router and tftp get/put files successfully. Once I ran these commands from the instructions the router no longer has activity on the Ethernet ports so Im not sure how the TFTP can work to get the image now. What are the next steps to get this working?

you left out the "imagename"... so you set this variable to empty... ( or worse < ... > )

if your uboot console still works... copy and paste what the variables above are currently set to... after typing;

opps, I just copy/pasted from the webpage, but I did use the actual image name. I was able to resolve the issue by rebooting the router and hitting any key to force it into the IPQ prompt. When I do that I have network access. Then from there I had to force my tftp server to use 192.168.1.254 instead of the 192.168.1.2 that the instructions called out for. Then I just used the tftp command and it downloaded the code and is now working. Thanks.
