E8450 when's the next major update?

i am trying to use this router as a travel router but i am shocked at how bad the wifi antennas are on this router...u cannot hold the 2ghz as a masters and the 5ghz as a master (or vice versa) at the same time without one or both conenctions going down. esentilaly trying to use htis router as a wifi repeater but can't?

from what i understand openwrt isn't really version 4 fully supported on this router, is there a way to see where the nightlies are and where progress is? I coudln't find a dedicate forum here to it

If you're inquiring about Development Snapshot builds,
You can download them via Firmware selector by selecting SNAPSHOT with the dropdown box

NB: Firmware selector provides you with the option of adding packages into the build. e.g. LuCI

what do you mean by master ?

sorry i miswrote that: i cannot hold the 2ghz as a client and the 5ghz as a master on the router, at the same time. it crashes the router and requires soft reset
