E1200 No Wifi Option whatsoever! Confused

Im new to open-wrt and lede... I REALLY want an up to date, secure firmware i can use on my linksys e1200 v2. Been using DD-wrt for a while now, but the only version available for my device is extremely outdated. I want something with the wpa2 security fixes... ANYWAYS, i've tried Open-wrt and it didn't even recognize my wlan or radio. Thought LEDE might have fixed that or something... I figured maybe it was something i had to manually setup via ssh, but nope, no documentation on that... all documentation i see for configuring wifi has a "Network -> Wifi" tab...

I don't even see "Wifi" when going to "Network"... There isn't anything in any of the documentation about wifi not working at all on this device.. This post was my last resort...

https://wireless.wiki.kernel.org/en/users/drivers/b43/soc suggests that there is no support for your wlan chipset at all.

You might try Shibby Tomato...

tomato (all forks) doesn't have KRACK vulnerability patched for repeater/client modes

More of an issue on clients...

Depends on your use case as to whether Tomato is a good choice, so I wouldn't totally rule it out.

but if you need it later as a repeater you'll be vulnerable

That's why I said "depends on your use case"...
