Duplicate minidlna service

Good morning,
on the router I installed an external HD on which I pour movies / anime / homemade videos.
Through minidlana I can then see everything in streaming from the TV or mobile phone by connecting me to the dlna server on the lan.
The problem is that it's all "shuffled" with no apparent categorization (I can certainly divide them into folders).

The question is:
It is possible to duplicate the minidlna service in order to have more servers watching different folder:

  • DLNA Anime
  • DLNA Movies
  • DLNA Pron (>_>)
    ... and so on...

Do I have to use the CLI or through LUCI is there something usable?
Thank you

what do you mean by duplicate ?

you probably can't run more than one ...

Been over 8 or more since I used minidlna and that version only broke down the media into 3 categories

  • Music
  • Photos
  • Videos

and it was a hodgepodge of scrambled hot mess. Best it could do for me was show me the last "Current" 20.. that led to exploring putting Plex on a Pogo Plug. lol it was so slow..

You're gonna need some other NAS software or do your "folder" idea.

Yes i want run more than one instance, clearly "aiming" different folder on different port.
for example, in the router's start-up operation, launch a second instance.

if minidlna isn't using a specific port, then it should be doable ...

Minidlan can run on different port.
Probabily i can run minidlna -f /etc/minidlan2.conf specifing another conf file.
I'll do some tries.
Thanks

you can use the "Root container" for the old setup
but why not just use folders ?
