Hello, greetings to all, I would like to know what driver or package should I use so that openwrt recognizes this D-Link AirPlus Xtreme G DWL-G520 network card on a PC, thanks to all
That if impossible to tell based on the brief model name alone, as there are more than a dozen different hardware revisions posing under it - with vastly different wireless chipsets inside.
The numeric vendor-/ product IDs reported by
lspci -knn should be more conclusive.
My guess -in the best of all cases- would be kmod-ath5k, but that's more wishful
thinkguessing than anything else.
And what would be the way to find the packages according to the card I have, if I have the hardware id, where and how do I look for the package?
Look for the VID and PID here.
Can you give me the url where I can search for the package with the id, please
All the drivers in linux kernel and all supported devices are here:
I don't see DWL-G520 listed, but it has an Atheros b/g chip, so it should be supported by the newer ath5k or the very old madwifi driver.
here = at the forum.
how about you post the PID and VID ?
my card is rtl8192ee PCIe Wireless Network Adapter
