Does OpenWrt support Wireguard QoS?

I have WG on my OpenWrt.

I connect to my home LAN very successfully in the home/EU area.

I got a family member in South Africa to install WG on their tablet.
Internet connection betw South Africa & europe is OFTEN very unstable.
We connect via the Threema app. Its common for audio sessions to be unstable, or to just lose connection.

I thought a VPN tunnel may use higher priority packets. Apparently not.
Is there is way on OpenWrt to set WG/QoS options to increase the priority of VPN traffic?

Try using SQM with Cake, fq_codel, or a similar traffic shaper to reduce bufferbloatand and automatically prioritize audio sessions.
