I bought an E8450 and flashed it with openwrt.
I looked at the beacon frames on the E8450 and noticed that the router does not support spatial reuse (SR) by default.
Is there a way to enable SR? Or does E8450 not support SR?
How about BPI-R4? Does it support SR? I'm going to buy BPI-R4.
I think this is a question for @daniel . He knows more about this device than anyone else.
I'd like to know that, too.
There are default values in hostapd-*.conf that suggest it is enabled. But I don't know how to test it or to check.
hostapd configuration parameters related to SR are as follows:
B2 and B3 are both 0, so config file cannot handle SR-related parameters....
You can manually set hostapd parameters in /etc/config/wireless but I don't know the format for that particular setting.
Better ask this question in the E8450/RT3200 Main Thread. It's more likely to get an answer there.
