Does B.A.T.M.A.N protocol load-balances the internet traffic?

Hi, I would like to merge two networks that have two different connection to the internet (in different locations), using batman-adv. I'm not a big expert in general, especially regarding batman protocol.

I would like to know if, when there are two batman node sharing their internet connection in server mode, the protocol implements some sort of load balancing in order to sum up the two connection speeds, or it just searches for the best path to the internet.

If this is not possible, is there an alternative solution (maybe with vlan and mwan3)?
