Do uci commands from 23.5.0 work the same on 24.10.0?

Hi everyone,

I have set up my router with 23.5.0 a while ago from scratch with the help of the wiki, mostly using uci commands tailored to my needs. For example following wiki pages like https://openwrt.org/docs/guide-user/network/wifi/guestwifi/guest-wlan

I wrote down all the steps so that I can reproduce everything.

Now I want to set up a new Router with 24.10.0 and my question is can I use the steps I've written down again or did something change in the uci syntax since 23.5.0?

The UCI syntax is the same.

But the actual config items for your router model may have changed. For most routers there were no changes, but some routers had e.g. the change from swconfig to DSA switch config. Search forum and wiki for info about your router.
