Dnscrypt and dns over tls

Hi,
does it make a sense to install both ie dnscrypt and cloudfare dns over TLS on openwrt?

Not really.

Moreover, you can use other DNS providers.

@vgaetera so do you mean i can use for example google DNS and dont need to setup these mentioned things as these are setup on provider side? thanks

Google DNS supports both DoT and DoH and performs DNSSEC on the server side.
You still need to set up the client side to use DNS encryption:
