is it best for openwrt for work space controlling many things

Pretty much all openwrt devices are equal in functionality.

I have many devices to connect to net
And also some devices to be connected via vpn,
And also I have nextcloud server running on my pi4.
Also some iot devices,
Please suggest

yes,

it's capable of connecting "many" devices "to net", "some" via VPN, and "some" IoT devices.
Not sure how the nextcloud server comes into the picture though.

I would recommend one of the Qualcomm IPQ8064 devices R7800,EA8500 etc
the MT7615 wifi is getting better but it's still buggy
there is also limited storage I think you have only about 21M
to store software you can't fit samba4 on there
& the Ksmbd is still buggy for file sharing
currently V19 is better V21 is still early days

D-link dir 2660 has 128 MB storage and 256 MB RAM.

Only 0x2800000 or 41943040 so only ~ 40M for openwrt & it's software
on v19 samba3 will fit but samba4 won't on v21
