Dlink DAP 1325 A1 - "System running in recovery (initramfs) mode."

Hi, I flashed the Kernel from OpenWrt Firmware Selector on my Dlink DAP 1325.

Do I choose the SYSUPGRADE image next & apply it?

Currently my wifi extender says " System running in recovery (initramfs) mode.

No changes to settings will be stored and are lost after rebooting. This mode should only be used to install a firmware upgrade"

Thanks. just making sure. Didn't want to brick anything.

  • Ember.

restart, follow https://git.openwrt.org/?p=openwrt/openwrt.git;a=commit;h=d57ba86e489e363be3b26b9cb880048da5dfd12c

Thanks. ^^ It just needs a restart? I was unable to get into the failsafe UI, but it allowed me to flash the kernel image in regular mode.

kernel isn't an image you're supposed to flash, it's just for running in memory.

I guess you can try to UL the sysupgrade image, it's the one used when doing the install, it seems.

Ah, so I screwed up. Ill try the sys image & report back.

Edit: Everything seems to be working after applying the sysupgrade image.

Thanks for your help! =)
