I am using E8450. Apparently I get bufferbloat issues when I check using wifi so I had to lower the download and upload speeds. But when I use the same settings in wired, I get exceptional performance with +0 changes between loaded and unloaded latency.
I was wondering if I could change these sqm settings only for wired connections? So I could like get better download speeds and upload speeds when using wired?
You could add one more sqm instance to each radio/wlanN interface (with N being a number). If you set these shapers' download/upload rates below the settings for the main internet shaper you should get what you ask for, albeit at a high CPU cost, probably to high for your router.
