Devolo 1750e bricked after openwrt Installation

You can try option 1. and load an initramfs version of OpenWrt to the device (e.g. from https://firmware-selector.openwrt.org/?version=22.03.5&target=ath79%2Fgeneric&id=devolo_dvl1750e and select the kernel image). Once this has booted successfully, you can use sysupgrade to install OpenWrt (using the sysupgrade image from the same page). Given that you have serial attached, you can see if there are installation problems.

Going through your logs, it looks like the flash wasn't erased properly when installing OpenWrt and JFFS finds old markers and refuses to mount the root file system. This shouldn't happen when bootin the -initramfs version first.

On another devolo1750e I made a sysupgrade with openwrt-22.03.4-ath79-generic-devolo_dvl1750e-squashfs-sysupgrade.bin without probs.

On the just arrived another devolo1750e  the sysupgrade with openwrt-22.03.5-ath79-generic-devolo_dvl1750e-squashfs-sysupgrade.bin went wrong.

So, I would like to try the TFTP Solution with the outdated openwrt-22.03.4-ath79-generic-devolo_dvl1750e-squashfs-sysupgrade.bin.

Is that possible in any way ?

I have absolutely no experience with the initramfs stuff .. sorry.

I have setup a TFTP Server on the Win 11 Box

Then I copied the 3 firmware files to the directory from tftp

Then I tested with the tftp client from Windows if it is working in the right way.

if you choose option 1, uboot should tell you what IP it expects, and file name it wants from the TFTP server.
change your TFTPd host IP, and image name accordingly.

well, the uboot didn't do what it was supposed to.
SDRAM boot shouldn't try to write the image to flash.

you could try to use option 4, then run tftpboot.
