after install from sysupgrade firmware via Luci, device no longer accessible
reverted with netinstall of mikrotik installed firmware from start and reapply openwrt worked

Any particular version of mikrotik firmware?
previous firmware was openwrt 19.07
Changing from 19 to 21 requires not saving the network settings. Importing a swconfig based configuration to a DSA system will make the Ethernet ports inaccessible.
