Debricking eap225 v3

Hi everyone,
excuse my english being bad :face_exhaling:. I am a little bit new on Openwrt.

So, I have Tp-Link EAP225 v3, 2 month ago i've bricked it while I was going sell it, the buyer wanted me to install the original tp-link firmware by accident i forgot to do tplink-safeloader and then it briked the led squence is green orange green and i do not get ip address nor any wifi. So today I decided to debrick the device. Here is git commit and the uart port, tp-link has made really difficult to uart this device by removing some resistors to serial interface, by accident while i was soldering the pad dropped here is the image

if you need hi res photo just ask me. So is there a way to recover this device or i dont want to call it but
is it "trash" now.
here are full photos

@svanheule thank you for your all efforts to this device maybe you can help Me

Thank You!

This video explains step by step, maybe can help you.

it has very different board than mine but i think it has the same chipset

Not that I can be of much more help than anyone else who can solder, but since nobody seems to be interested...

Looks like you can still bridge R230 to the pad of the serial header. Get some (old) flexible wire, take out one of the fine copper strands, pre-tin it and use enough flux. Keeping your soldering iron on the board for too long (too much heat) will make the pads come loose. Pre-tinning and flux should help quickly making a good connection.

can i use jumper cables that are like used in arduino or raspberry pi projects

Sure. Just don't try to solder the entire (stranded) wire to that pad of R230. As I suggested, a single strand should be fine. Such a tiny wire is also much easier to manipulate.

You could use a longer piece of wire and it after soldering it, so you don't have to manipulate a really short piece either. Just be careful not to (accidentally) pull on it, or you might lose another pad.

okay i am going to post the results once my uart usb device arrives. Thank you for your response
