Deactivate Console and use it as GPIO / UART

Hello,

I am using a GL-MT300N-V2, which has a connector with 6 GPIOs. Two of them are used as the Consoleport.

As I need 3 GPIOs for switching a MOSFET, and 2 GPIOs for a UART Interface to connect to some peripheral device, I need to deactivate the console port, and use it as either a GPIO, or UART Port. Is this possible, or do I need to expand my GPIOs via I²C e.g.?
