Ddns, multiple domains and wildcard domains

I'm using ZoneEdit, and I have two domains, let's call them domain.net and *.domain.net. In my old client, I could pass them as "domain.net -a *.domain.net" but the client in openwrt is giving an error of: sanitize on domain found characters outside allowed subset

I'm on version 23.05.2. I saw a previous post from February but there were no responses.

Is there a way to specify multiple domains with one of them being a wildcard domain?

Yes, just configure 2 DDNS instances, one for each domain.

Or if your provider gave you an account or special username to update the domains, use this instead.

Yea, that's what I did. I thought ZoneEdit would balk at getting called twice in succession, but apparently they only count each domain, not each account. So it ends up working. Thanks.
