dnscrypt v2 is already included in the build which does pretty much the same thing. So, at this time I wouldn't be interested in adding additional packages.

None of the devices covered in this thread and community build have any kind of (hardware-) support for IEEE 802.11ax, let alone the 6 GHz spectrum.
I don't have a crystal ball, but think there will be a shift in the OpenWrt community to use a combination of a OpenWrt powered router, and Factory firmware on Wifi AP's.

@davidc502 - the latest dropbear build you have is working as expected. Wondering if you could also implement the ssh fix that @sshambar has suggested if possible.

New builds for r12235 have just been uploaded to the website. Okay, here is the rub on the new firmware; the new firmware IS included with the wifi drivers. However, there are 2 patches that I did not include, but with further testing may do so in the future. Depending on the hardware owned, there may be some error messages in the logs that accompany the new firmware. Either today or tomorrow, I'll post a link to another build that will includes those patches, so will need some volunteers with different hardware to tell me if wifi is working as expected. At least for me wifi flat out does not work on the 3200acm when those 2 patches are built, so I'm curious to see if others have the same issue.
This is interesting, but after 1 year, I actually was able to change the package version for wifi!

Thank you for the new build! SSH with ecdsa type keys works fine now! And since the last two builds cryptsetup finally works again for opening encrypted Veracrypt volumes! This is just great!
The only thing which stopped working for me is the luci-statistics tab. It always says there is no RRD data found even though both luci_statistics and collectd are enabled and running...

Normally rebooting the router again will get RRD working proper after a flash.

The wifi driver with the last 2 commits has been uploaded to the server. The firmware is exactly the same as build r12235, so you don't have to force the removal of the firmware when uninstalling the driver, but I leave that to you.

For me the test bombed, meaning when I installed the driver above wifi stopped working, and exhibited the same behavior I've seen before. What's interesting is I uninstalled the new and went back to the old, and it still would not work. So, I'm thinking when the driver is installed it is making a configuration change somewhere that doesn't revert when putting the old driver back on.
Anyhow, I have the 3200acm, so I'm interested in hearing from other acm users as well as owners of other hardware types.

Has there been any updates on port forwarding? I am still having the same issue even on the r12235 build. Another user mentioned it being configured as 'list' instead of 'option' but I don't have that issue.

Ok @davidc502 flashed your firmware on WRT32X and the factory image has squash issues not sure why however after flashing the sysupgrade image that error went (ISP change backhaul so i did a return to stock flash run before going back to openwrt).
Now with your firmware as is the wireless worked well however after installing the kmod you linked on here the following happened.

[ 17.676488] mwlwifi: probe of 0000:02:00.0 failed with error -5Now deleting the kmod and reinstalling the original resulted in the firmware bin file going missing hence why it doesn't work so you have to reinstall the firmware again via opkg go figure.
Right now i will be compiling my internal builds of V19.07 and will do a master run as well to see if i can get over the issue.

The above error would appear to be from taking the mwlwifi repo verbatim. You will have to address the policy issue(PR369), by either the method in PR2756 patch (removing the condition), or the one proposed by PR381 patch.
