Dante/sockd does not start

Hi,

I am using LEDE 17.04.1 version on my Linksys WRT1900ACS and trying to install a Socks5 proxy. I understand that sockd is what's called dante server and available in packages, but it won't start giving me the following error:

sockd[5388]: error: serverinit(): sched_getscheduler(2): failed to retrieve current cpuscheduling policy: Function not implemented
sockd[5388]: alert: mother[1/1]: shutting down
sockd version is
sockd -v
Dante v1.4.1. Copyright (c) 1997 - 2014 Inferno Nettverk A/S, Norway

I have tried different cpu relatd options in the config but it seems to me that sockd needs to be recompiled. Can anyone please confirm if I can launch it anyhow or if there is an update coming?

Thanks

Tinyproxy now also supports SOCKS, but unfortunately also needs to be updated.

thanks for this! I have tried it but it could not do username:port access support. does it work on the newest version?
