Daemon.notice netifd: wan (1728): Command failed: Permission denied

I found this message in my logfiles. It always appears, when I call ifdown wan. The message does not appear, when I call ifup wan.

How can I find out, which command failed?

Is thery any verbose option?

System is snapshot (2020-01-24) for rpi4b.

EDIT: I did some further investigations on this topic.

It's not clear for me, which command failed: the netifd command or a command, which is invoked by netifd (in that case: which command).

Permission is denied: for what object or file?

Getting the same but contrary to

it happens on this node (Master, mvebu, cortex-A9) only with ifup wan.
