Hello, so I do have above router and I would like to know what specs do it have (can't find anywhere) and is openwrt possible to install into it.

SoC = RTL8197DN = not supported by OpenWrt.
The easiest way to get OpenWrt on your router: Buy one that is known to be supported by OpenWrt.

FLA1: 8 MiB
RAM1: 64 MiB
which also sucks...
One more question is there any other open source firmware which supports that router?
Just updated DIR-825 wiki article with data from wikidevi and FCC.
Basically same as D1/E1, Realtek RTL8197D.
