Has anyone any success getting into gui recovery mode on d-link dir-3040?

I decide to install openwrt as i have one running on dir-2640 but i cant get into recovery mode.

I can reset the router, upgrade the oem firmware without any issues. I tried to do it from win10 as i couldnt install openwrt on previous routers thru ubuntu. Tried firefox, edge nothing helps it times out and never shows recovery screen.

Procedure i am doing:
Hold reset button
Turn power on
Wait till led will start to blink
Release reset button

Any suggestions?

don't forget to manually configure your PC's IP
range 192.168.0.x for the recovery interface
then remove it back to DHCP for openwrt

Just solved the problem by downloading old version of firefox from their ftp. Firefox 10.
