D-Link-DGS-1210-28 (Hardware Version F1) Failed Install

I am trying to install OpenWrt on to a D-Link DGS-1210-28 switch.

Unfortunately, I mistakenly installed the OpenWrt image as image_id2 and not image_id1, as the instructions state.

Now the switch is in a boot-loop when I power it on, so I can’t get back to a WebUI. I’ve tried resetting and 30-30-30 in vain.

Is there any way to boot back to the OEM firmware on image_id1, without opening up the switch?

If my device is bricked, how do I de-brick? Serial/UART cable and TFTP or JTAG? I don’t have any experience with these techniques, so I’d appreciate the help.
