D-link 853 -A3E/A4E

D-link 853 -A3E/A4E installed open-wrt , is it possible to go back to stock firmware?

probably the same way as the install was supposed to be done (yes, this PR got closed/rejected):

As always little cautious and confused too. Looking at the techdata, Firmware OEM Stock URL:https://ftp.dlink.ru/pub/Router/DIR-853/Firmware/2021.03.24-13.42_DIR_853R3_MT7621_4.0.0_release.bin. This is probably pointing to R3 version not the A3/A4 or it is the correct one. Do I need to get encrypted stock version then? any tutorial or link for the same, will appreciate for helping me out.

I was able to go back to stock firmware. But there is a problem, I tried multiple images, and finally the image worked I got it from a link that was posted on YouTube. Since its not from official web site, I am unsure about malicious or suspicious script insertion. Is there any way to confirm it?

No, but you might try installing an official firmware through it.

Post the link so others can benefit.

Model Name: DIR-853/ET Hardware Version: A3 Firmware Version: ET853PNP-1.05-B71D26

After installing it, I tried to update from D-link Web UI with few official firmware’s but failed. Is there any other way to do it?
