Cyberoam CR25iNG / CR25WiNG wired router HW discovery

There's another version of this device available, called CR25Wing, containing a wifi card.

No logs available for the stock OS, the 4GB CF was wiped, and the 320GB HGST spin drive
it came with, was dead.

Power is through a 12V DC plug, sticker on the device says 1.7A.

Soldered RAM size is 2GB

dd:ed openwrt 22.03 to the CF, and the device booted.

Sorry to bring back to life this old topic - but I am trying to solve my issue with the Hardware accelerator or Cr15ing. I have described it here https://forum.openwrt.org/t/cryptographic-hardware-accelerators-cr15ing/166808 .
I am trying to analyze if the problem is with the BIOS Openwrt image I used instead of EFI.
When I compare your lspci output with mine - I am missing 00:08.0 Encryption controller: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. [AMD] Kabini/Mullins PSP-Platform Security Processor
Both BIOS versions mine and yours are the same.
Do you remember by any chance if you have used UFI or BIOS Openwrt version for flashing?

Pretty sure I used the legacy version.

I don't own a CR25ING any more, but I got a CR35WING on my desk, to compare with, bit I'm not sure those two/three use the same CPU...

Well, I am comparing the info about the CPUs in the sites available in internet like this one: https://www.cpu-world.com/Compare/322/AMD_G-Series_GX-210UA_vs_AMD_G-Series_GX-412TC.html and both CPUs seems to support: AES / Advanced Encryption Standard.
Anyway, I will try with UFI to see what will happen, however one additional question - Can I upgrade directly from legacy image just by flashing sysupgrade UFI image, or shell I install it trough USB, etc..?

I am trying to test if the following is the problem ( taken from the PC engines wiki: https://openwrt.org/toh/pcengines/apu2): ```IMPORTANT: The BIOS must be updated to v4.16.0.1 or later as the AMD PSP CCP as an entropy source only functions from that version onwards.

Refer to apu-bios-update for update instructions.

After ensuring that a suitable BIOS version is being used, refer to rng for instructions on how to use the hardware RNG present at /dev/hwrng``` , so that's why I want to test with ufi.
However your BIOS seems to be the same as mines, so not sure... shooting in the dark :slight_smile:
