Customization L2TP / IPSec pre-shared key

Hello everyone. I'm a beginner. Today I installed OpenWRT 23.05.4 on xiaomi router ax3200. Please tell me how do I install and configure the L2TP/IPsec pre-shared key on it? Which packages do I need to download? There is a server, login, password and a pre-key. Don't hit hard :slight_smile:

If you're trying to setup a client to connect to a remote IPsec endpoint, you can read through the following wiki articles:

IPsec is much less popular than WireGuard and OpenVPN, so there will be fewer people experienced with this protocol and thus likely less available help. If you're creating your own VPN server type configuration and/or if you have other options to connect to the other end, I'd recommend going with WireGuard as first choice, OpenVPN second.

Thanks for the reply. It is these vpn settings that are at my job. And this VPN solves several issues:

  1. It is necessary that several devices at my house are connected to this VPN. For work. To avoid configuring each device individually
  2. Plus, I have some restrictions in my country with access to various sites. VPN from my job solves the issue of access to these sites.

I'm not personally experienced with IPsec/StrongSwan, so hopefully others will see your questions if you run into issues along the way... but the wiki articles should get you going.
