Cudy WR1300 support?

Sorry, I was having trouble finding those in the factory firmware since I couldn't SSH/telnet in. I updated my last post.

Here's what I believe the values should be for my particular router:

LAN MAC: B4:4B:D6:24:63:F0
WAN MAC: B4:4B:D6:24:63:F1
2.4 GHz: B4:4B:D6:24:63:F0
5 GHz: B4:4B:D6:24:63:F2

Ok. It's default for openwrt: wan mac = lan mac +1.

I just wanted to give an update. I have the build up and running on all my routers and it's working nicely.

The only thing of note is that under Network -> Switch, the LAN ports are in reverse order, WAN is fine. The LAN LEDs are in the right order, I'm guessing that's hardware controlled though. I'm not too worried about that, personally.

Also, I'm not sure if this is an issue, but like I mentioned before, under System -> LED Configuration there are no values even though the LEDs work properly. I'm not sure if there are supposed to be any, but at least on a different model router running OpenWRT it shows them.

If I understand correctly lan port numbering is right (e.g. if you connect cable into rj45 port marked as LAN1 on your box, openwrt show link in port LAN1 too). And the only thing that you want to change is show list order in openwrt web
from
LAN1 LAN2 LAN3 LAN4 WAN
to
LAN4 LAN3 LAN2 LAN1 WAN?

Sorry to trouble you again. It is the port numbering that is wrong. When I have a cable plugged into LAN1, OpenWRT shows LAN4 as active. Your change to LAN4 LAN3 LAN2 LAN1 WAN would be good, too.

Are there any independent builds? I don't really trust that company to install their build and I don't have enough knowledge to build it myself

I've been using @123serge123's build from this post for about a week now and everything's been working well. It was made using OpenWRT's Image Builder so it's as close as we have to an official release right now.

How to install:

Download Cudy's custom 19.07 build and 123serge123's sysupgrade image.
Access the stock firmware's web interface, and find the firmware update section. From there, you'll need to flash Cudy's custom build.
Once that's complete, within LuCI you can go to the Backup / Flash Firmware page and use the sysupgrade image. Make sure "Keep settings and retain the current configuration" is not checked.
Within a few minutes you'll have a clean copy of OpenWRT 19.07.3 running.

If anything at all goes wrong during the process, you can always TFTP recover the router back to stock firmware by following this guide.

I agree with not really trusting Cudy's own build. It fills nearly the entire flash by having a lot of unnecessary (and non-removable) packages baked in. As far as I can tell, though, it's necessary right now to flash their custom image as an intermediate step.

Thanks for the detailed answer. I know I can install Cudy's build, but it kind of defeats the purpose of OpenWrt for me. And I didn't even know it has unnecessary and non-removable packages. It's just a disgrace. I didn't even know it's possible to make packages non-removable.

upd: my bad, I didn't read carefully. If I understand correctly I get clean OpenWrt build at the end

upd2: I did exactly that and when I open the router's web interface I see " [LuCI - Lua Configuration Interface]" first, but then it's just doesn't work and tells that the website can't be reached

The IP address of the router changes from 192.168.10.1 in the stock firmware and Cudy's build to 192.168.1.1 in 123serge123's build.

Sorry, should have mentioned that before. You do have it right, the sysupgrade replaces Cudy's custom build.

I flashed Cudy's build first, then I flashed the 123serge123's sysupgrade from the Cudy's OpenWrt interface. I tried 192.168.1.1, it doesn't work either. I see the luci message on 192.168.10.1, but after redirect it just doesn't respond. And it doesn't show up in the network in windows explorer like it did on Cudy's build

Does it look like the router is starting up? Does the SYS light come on, start blinking, and eventually turn solid? Do you see the 2.4G and 5G lights come on? If so, scan for Wi-Fi networks on your computer or phone and see if a network called "OpenWRT" shows up. That'd at least mean the router booted.

Does your current home network use 192.168.1.1 as the gateway? If so, make sure you don't have any other network cables plugged into the router except for the one between the router and your computer. Also make sure your computer isn't connected to any other networks (e.g. Wi-Fi).

If you prefer, you could also connect to the "OpenWRT" Wi-Fi network on your computer if you see it. Make sure the router has nothing plugged into it except power. Connect to the Wi-Fi network and try to visit 192.168.1.1.

The reason you see the redirect on 192.168.10.1 is because the browser cached it.

SYS light doesn't blink, it's always off. The only lights that are on are two LAN ports, WAN and Power. I don't see any Wi-Fi networks from the router, but I have the internet access through LAN though.

It is connected to my pc, raspberry pi and WAN. Why can't it be connected to them?

upd: I unplugged every port but LAN to my pc and reinstalled everything. Nothing changed

Something must've somehow gone wrong during flashing if the SYS / Wi-Fi lights aren't coming on, the router is likely soft-bricked. The new firmware by default would turn Wi-Fi on, and the SYS light used to indicate it's running. Follow this guide from Cudy to restore factory firmware to restore any functionality, and hopefully be able to try again.

I suggested unplugging other cables in order to eliminate other possible causes of it not loading, but the lights make it look like something is wrong on the router's end.

I did it like 10 times. The stock firmware and Cudy's OpenWrt work fine, but after I update OpenWrt it happens
